Job Description
Join the friendly 2C Cardiac Medical Ward at Pindara Private Hospital as a Part-Time Registered Nurse. Supported by the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care to a diverse range of patients requiring telemetry monitoring and support those undergoing cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures.

About You
n
You are a passionate Registered Nurse with strong clinical skills and experience in an acute care setting. You thrive in a collaborative and supportive team and are committed to delivering safe, high-quality patient care. Cardiac experience is highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Deliver safe, high-quality and patient-centred nursing care to patients within the Cardiac Medical Ward
n
- Provide care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring
n
- Support patients undergoing cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures
n
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care
n
- Monitor patients' clinical condition and recognise and upscale changes appropriately
n
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures
n
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
n
- Communicate effectively with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team
n
- Participate in clinical handovers and contribute to continuity of care
n
- Promote patient dignity, privacy, safety and wellbeing
n
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture
n
- Support quality improvement, clinical governance and professional nursing standards
n
n
You Will Also Bring
n
n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
- Minimum two years' post-graduate experience in an acute hospital setting
n
- Strong clinical skills and sound knowledge of acute nursing care
n
- Previous cardiology experience, preferred but not essential
n
- Ability to act as In-Charge after hours, highly desirable but not essential
n
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
n
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
n
- A strong commitment to patient-centred care and customer service
n
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
n
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including day, evening and night shifts
n
n
Remuneration
n
On offer is a base hourly rate of $39.96-54.01 + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties and allowances (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1, Grades 1-8).
