Activity Care Services Australia is a growing provider of Disability and Community Support Services, delivering high-quality, person-centred supports across the community. We are committed to promoting independence, safety, and meaningful community participation for people with disability.

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Casual Support Workers to support a valued male participant living with Traumatic Brain Injury, complex behaviours, physical aggression, and absconding risks.

About the Role

This is a casual, ongoing Community Access role supporting a participant with high-behaviour support needs such as physical aggression and Absconding risks. The role is delivered in a 2:1 staffing ratio, with two staff rostered on every shift.

Important: This role involves fixed daily shift times. Applicants must ensure these hours suit their availability before applying.

Shift Details (Fixed & Ongoing)

- Shift Time: 11:45 am – 4:15 pm daily

- Minimum Availability Required: At least 3-4 days per week (Monday–Friday)

- Start Date: Immediate start required

A company vehicle is provided for this shift.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide protected, structured community access support

- Support engagement in social and community activities

- Implement and follow Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP)

- Monitor, prevent,



and manage physical aggression and absconding risks

- Maintain participant safety, dignity, and independence

- Work effectively within a 2:1 support model

- Safely operate the company vehicle during shifts

What We’re Looking For

- Calm, confident, and reliable support workers

- Demonstrated experience with high-intensity behaviours

- Ability to implement PBSPs and de-escalation strategies

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Availability for a minimum of 3-4 days per week

- Ready to commence immediately

Essential Requirements

- Experience supporting participants with behaviours of concern

- Valid NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card) and Blue Card

- First Aid & CPR Certificate

- Full Driver’s Licence (required for company car use)

- Certificate III or IV in Disability / Community Services (highly regarded)

- Australian work rights
