Casual Accountant / Accounts Assistant/Clerk

Location: SMITHFIELD, NSW
n Employment Type: Casual – 2 Days per Week
n Hours: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
n Pay Rate: To be discussed upon interview and based on experience and qualifications

Hospitality Equipment 2020 Pty Ltd (HE2020) is seeking a reliable and motivated Accountant, Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper, or Accounting Student to join our team on a casual basis.

n

This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional or a 3rd or 4th-year Accounting or Finance student looking to gain valuable hands‐on industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- General accounting and bookkeeping duties
n
- Payroll processing and related payroll administration
n
- Financial and management reporting
n
- General ledger maintenance and reconciliations
n
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
n
- Bank and account reconciliations
n
- Data entry and processing of financial information
n
- Preparing and maintaining Excel spreadsheets and reports
n
- Assisting with account reviews and financial reporting
n
- Maintaining accurate financial records
n




- Supporting the accounts team with general financial and administrative duties
n

n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or finance is preferred
n
- 3rd or 4th-year Accounting or Finance students are encouraged to apply
n
- Experience or knowledge of MYOB EXO, Xero, and Microsoft Excel
n
- Understanding of payroll, general ledger, reconciliations, and accounting processes
n
- Robust attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Good organisational and reporting skills
n
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
n
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
n
