Sands Fridge Lines is seeking a proactive and commercially minded HR Advisor to join our growing HR team in Forrestfield. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you'll partner with leaders across our transport, warehousing, and corporate operations, providing expert Human Resources and Industrial Relations support in a dynamic and fast-paced logistics environment.

What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of our HR team, you'll play an important role in supporting both our leaders and employees by:

- Providing practical and commercially focused advice on HR policies, procedures, employment legislation, and best practice
- Coaching managers through employee relations matters including performance management, misconduct, grievances, investigations, and absenteeism management
- Supporting leaders to build high-performing teams through effective people management and development strategies
- Assisting with performance review processes, succession planning, and talent development initiatives




- Coordinating employee engagement, training, and development programs
- Ensuring compliance with Fair Work legislation, Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and company policies
- Drafting and maintaining HR documentation including employment contracts, policy updates, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary correspondence
- Managing onboarding activities and ensuring a positive employee experience from day one
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR data within UKG and Kronos
- Supporting recruitment activities during peak periods and workforce growth projects
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across HR systems, processes, and compliance frameworks

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong HR knowledge with a practical, hands-on approach and a genuine passion for supporting people.

To be successful, you will bring:

- A Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business, Employment Relations, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a generalist HR Advisory role
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment law, Fair Work legislation, Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and HR best practice
- Previous experience working in industrial, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or blue-collar environments will be highly regarded
- Experience using HRIS platforms, with UKG/Kronos experience highly desirable
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- A solution-focused mindset with the confidence to influence and challenge when required
- High levels of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
- A collaborative approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves to support the wider team
