Job Description

We are seeking energetic and physically fit team members, able to start immediately, to join our busy crew at our plant propagation and distribution site at Wyee.

We aim to provide a supportive and rewarding work setting, where initiative and development are encouraged and we only operate Monday to Friday so your weekends are free to enjoy.

Whilst a keen interest in plants is a plus, it is not essential as we provide all of the training and support you need to get the job done.

n

What you will be doing:

n

Picking bulk orders from around the nursery - this is not a customer facing sales role

n

And/or detailing and packing plants in our dock and loading trolleys for dispatch

n

Potting seedlings

n

Stock and property maintenance and other general nursery duties

n

What we are offering:

38 hours per week

n

Monday to Friday roster only - your weekends free after an early finish on Friday

What we need from you:

n

Reliability! We are a small, busy team and we value someone who shows up every day.

n

Physical fitness. The work can be physically challenging - on your feet and lots of lifting, bending and carrying.

n

Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. We are working with a living product so we have to keep it healthy and moving regardless of the weather.

n

Ability to start at 7.00am

n

Your own reliable transportation. Public transport is very limited in this area and generally does not work well for 7am starts. Please confirm in your application.
