Based at our Head Office in Dandenong, Ventura’s Operations Control Centre (OCC) serves as the central hub for managing and coordinating our transport operations. Equipped with advanced technology, including live GPS tracking, CCTV monitoring, and real – time operational systems, our OCC plays a vital role in supporting drivers, managing incidents and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of our services.

As an OCC Supervisor, you will lead day to day network operations, coordinating responses to on road incidents, managing services disruptions and providing operational support across Melbourne’s bus network.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead real-time responses to operational disruptions, delays and critical emergencies.
- Support drivers using live operational systems, GPS tracking, and Live CCTV technology.
- Facilitate effective communication between drivers, depot staff and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with emergency services during escalations.
- Ensure smooth shift changeovers and operational readiness
- Arrange replacement drivers and vehicles as required
- Deliver our network KPI’S (Reliability and On Time Running)

Your ability to remain calm, make quick decisions, and manage multiple priorities will set you up for success.

In addition, we value applicants with:

- Experience: Similar position in operations supervision of procedure with experience in coordinating teams in a dynamic environment.
- Skills:



Exceptional communication: Excellent customer service skills and ability to give clear instructions.
- Tech-Savviness: Strong computer, communications and operations systems literacy – Microsoft office, vehicle tracking software and Internal systems.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work a rotating roster which includes mornings and nights.
- Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in a related field (desirable) and a current Victorian driver’s licence.

Ability to gain police clearance is essential.
