Join Belgravia Outdoor Education as an Outdoor Educator Trainee and spend 2027 learning, working, and gaining nationally recognised qualifications while being paid.

Based out of Eildon, Victoria, this unique 12-month full-time traineeship combines real-world outdoor education experience with formal study through Box Hill Institute, working towards your Certificate IV in Outdoor Leadership and Outdoor Education.

What's Included?

- Full-time paid traineeship from 18 January 2027 to 24 December 2027
n
- Annual salary of $45,822.40
n
- Paid study time while completing your qualification
n
- Study towards your Certificate IV in Outdoor Leadership and Outdoor Education through Box Hill Institute
n
- Gain hands-on experience delivering camps and outdoor education programs
n
- 7 weeks annual leave
n
- Accrue Rostered Time Off (RTO) for hours worked above 38 per week
n
- Overtime paid for hours worked over 12 hours in a day while on program
n




- Work alongside experienced Outdoor Educators and industry leaders

- Build practical skills and nationally recognised qualifications

- Potential future employment opportunities upon successful completion

What You'll Be Doing

n

As an Outdoor Educator Trainee, you'll learn alongside experienced instructors while supporting school camps and outdoor programs across Victoria.

n

You will:

- Assist with the delivery of outdoor education programs
n
- Support students through engaging camp experiences
n
- Learn outdoor leadership and facilitation skills
n
- Participate in industry training and professional development
n
- Complete Certificate IV coursework and practical assessments
n
- Develop skills in risk management, group leadership, and outdoor program delivery
n
- Build confidence in leading groups in outdoor environments
n

No previous outdoor education experience is required. We're looking for people with the right attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
