Job description

The Role

Agri Labour Australia is seeking a reliable and experienced Authorised Officer to support cotton warehousing and export operations in Wyndham, WA. Working within the cotton and agricultural export industry, you will join a busy warehouse team responsible for inspecting cotton and associated products to ensure export and quality requirements are met. This hands-on role combines compliance inspections, bale handling, scanning, container checks and general warehouse duties in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

You will help maintain the efficient and compliant movement of cotton through the warehouse and export process. Working alongside warehouse personnel, you will complete inspections, checks and operational tasks while maintaining accurate records and following workplace safety procedures.

- Inspect cotton and associated products against relevant export requirements
- Complete container inspections and checks as required
- Conduct cotton bale scanning and verify bale information
- Assist with the movement, positioning and handling of cotton bales
- Support the preparation of cotton and associated products for export
- Work closely with warehouse personnel to maintain efficient product flow
- Identify and report product, documentation or compliance issues
- Maintain accurate inspection and operational records
- Assist with loading, unloading and general warehouse operations




- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
- Assist with other warehouse and cotton handling duties as required

Your Skills & Experience

- Previous cotton warehousing or agricultural export experience highly regarded
- Experience inspecting agricultural products or export consignments advantageous
- Previous bale scanning or cotton handling experience highly regarded
- Warehouse or logistics experience advantageous
- Positive understanding of workplace health and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
- Ability to maintain accurate records and follow compliance procedures
- Confident working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Physically capable of completing hands-on warehouse duties
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
