Western District Health Service is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Allied Health Assistant Grade 2 to join our Physiotherapy & Exercise Physiology Team.

This rewarding role supports Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists to deliver safe, person-centred services to inpatients and ambulatory care clients across a variety of clinical settings. You'll play an important part in helping clients achieve their rehabilitation, mobility and wellbeing goals while working within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

What You'll Be Doing

Clinical Support

Assist Physiotherapists to deliver delegated treatment activities for inpatients and ambulatory care clients, working within defined care plans and scope of practice.

Exercise Programs

Support group exercise classes and provide delegated one-to-one exercise programs while monitoring client participation and providing feedback to supervising clinicians.

Equipment & Clinical Environment Management

Prepare, clean, maintain and manage equipment and clinical areas, ensuring safe and efficient service delivery.

Multidisciplinary Care

Work collaboratively with Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and other healthcare professionals to support optimal client outcomes.

Documentation & Administration

Maintain accurate clinical,



statistical and administrative records while supporting the day-to-day operation of the Physiotherapy Department.

What You Bring

- Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance (minimum requirement for Grade 2)
- Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Experience undertaking delegated allied health activities within a defined scope of practice
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to person-centred care and quality outcomes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Current Driver's Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Rights to work in Australia
