The Role

We’re looking for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager with Electrical background to identify new opportunities, secure high-value contracts, and strengthen relationships with key decision makers across our target sectors.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this is a results oriented role with strong support from our engineering and operations teams. So, you can focus on doing what you do best: growing the business.

Your Role

- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue and market share.
- Identify and win new business in mining, utilities, defence, and industrial markets.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships,



acting as a trusted advisor.
- Collaborate with engineers to deliver tailored solutions for client needs.
- Represent Westek at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
- Manage the sales pipeline, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.

About You

- Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in electrical, industrial, or engineering sectors.
- Strong understanding of technical solutions and ability to communicate with engineers and procurement teams.
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self motivated and target driven, with a proactive approach to winning business.
- Existing network in our target industries will be highly regarded.
