Chef – Shore School

Cater Care is looking for a qualified and motivated Chef to join our team at Shore School in North Sydney. This is a great opportunity for a Chef seeking a secure Monday to Friday role, working 40 hours per week with a consistent roster of 11:00am to 7:30pm.

About the Role

Working within a busy education environment, you will be responsible for preparing and producing quality meals while supporting the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard
- High-volume and bulk food production
- Food preparation and general kitchen duties
- Working independently and managing daily kitchen requirements
- Following recipes, menus and portion requirements
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
- Supporting the kitchen team to deliver efficient service
- Ensuring all food is prepared and handled in accordance with relevant food safety requirements
