Senior People & Culture Business Partner

$78.56 per hour | Transit Housing & Vehicle Provided | 8 Week Initial Assignment (potential to extend)

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior People & Culture Business Partner to join the People & Culture team with the City of Karratha.

This is a senior advisory role where you will partner with leaders across the organisation to deliver strategic workforce solutions, provide expert employee and industrial relations advice, and support organisational development and workplace culture initiatives.

About the Role

You will provide trusted advice and support across a broad range of People & Culture matters, including:

- Strategic HR business partnering and workforce planning
- Complex employee and industrial relations matters
- Coaching and advising managers and senior leaders
- Performance management and organisational change
- Workforce risk, compliance and employment legislation
- Recruitment, onboarding and talent management
- Leadership capability and employee engagement initiatives
- People & Culture projects and continuous improvement





You will also contribute to the development and implementation of People & Culture strategies, policies and programs while leading projects that support organisational effectiveness.

About You

We are seeking an experienced HR professional with:

- Substantial experience in a senior HR business partnering role
- Demonstrated experience managing complex employee and industrial relations matters
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, awards and certified agreements
- Experience providing advice and coaching to managers and senior leaders
- Highly developed negotiation, mediation and communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management abilities
- A relevant HR qualification such as an Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management or related discipline
- Current C Class driver's licence
- National Police Certificate issued within the last six months

Experience within local government and knowledge of the Local Government Act 1995 and associated regulations will be highly regarded.
