We’re gearing up for a big summer at Hope Island Tavern and we’re looking for experienced and enthusiastic kitchen crew to join the team on a casual basis, with plenty of hours available.

We’re hiring across multiple levels:

- Chef de Partie
- Demi Chef
- Commis Chef
- Pizza Chef

Located in Hope Island, we’re a busy, up-to-date pub with a relaxed coastal feel, a large beer garden, bistro, sports bar and a menu covering everything from pub classics and fresh seafood through to woodfired pizzas.

With summer approaching, we’re expecting plenty of action across weekends, events, functions and our busy outdoor spaces - so this is a great opportunity to pick up consistent casual hours and be part of a busy kitchen team.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for chefs who:

- Have previous commercial kitchen experience
- Can work confidently in a busy, high-volume environment
- Take pride in quality, consistency and presentation
- Work well as part of a team




- Are reliable and ready to hit the ground running
- Have flexibility across weekdays, nights and weekends

For our Pizza Chef position, previous pizza experience is preferred, but we’re also open to chefs with strong kitchen experience who are keen to develop their pizza skills.
