The Administration Officer - Support Services is the first point of contact for participants and stakeholders in NDIS and Disability and Aged Cared Community Supports. The Administration Officer - Support Services shall support the operational efficiency of ATSICHS Brisbane's Support Services programs, ensuring culturally safe and effective administration, intake, triage and coordination of services. This role plays a key part in managing participant inquiries, processing referrals, and providing administrative support across all Support Services programs.
Duties
- Facilitate intake processes for NDIS and Community Supports Disability/Aged Care programs.
- Coordinate client risk assessments and support plan development.
- Complete all required administrative tasks, including data entry and document management.
- Update participant records in relevant systems.
- Support the preparation of reports.
- Serve as the point of contact for participants, families, and stakeholders.
- Ensure ongoing communication with internal teams.
- Assist with conducting regular audits of Support the completion of risk assessments.
- Collect and analyse data related to intakes and referrals.
- Identify opportunities to enhance intake processes and administrative efficiency.

- Starting salary of $72,039 = 12% super.
- 1-year fixed-term full-time contract.

Skills And Experiences
- Proven experience and knowledge in client intake and customer service roles.
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals.
- Lived experience within the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander community.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
- Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications.
- Effective interpersonal skills including a high standard of customer service skills and a professional phone manner.
- Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People.
- Previous experience in working with culturally diverse people.
Preferred
- Certificate III or higher qualifications in Health Care, Social Assistance, Community Services or Administration or 2 years' relevant experience in field.
- Knowledge, understanding and/or awareness of the NDIS and Aged Care sectors, including the challenges participants may encounter.
- Previous experience working with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
- Previous experience working with Commonwealth home Support Program (CHSP).
- Familiarity with using MMEX and/or Brevity systems.
- Familiarity with My Aged Care and NDIS Service Provider Portal.
