We are looking for a motivated and reliable carpenter who has recently completed their carpentry apprenticeship and is keen to broaden their skills and learn all aspects of residential maintenance and defect work.
This is a hands-on role working across new-build residential homes, carrying out pre-handover tasks and 90-day warranty defect repairs. You'll have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of jobs and develop experience across many different areas of residential construction and maintenance. This position will involve travelling between various residential sites across Adelaide, from Tonsley through to Andrews Farm and surrounding areas.
Key responsibilities
- Pre-handover maintenance and finishing tasks
- 90-day warranty and defect repairs
- Gyprock patching and repairs
- Silicone work and caulking
- Painting and surface preparation
- Timber repairs and adjustments
- Repairs to doors and door frames
- Stair and other timber repairs
- General carpentry and finishing work
- Identifying and rectifying defects to a high standard
