Our client is a large integrated supplier of building, construction and mining materials who have recently expanded into WA.

With a history spanning more than 40 years, they are deeply engaged in the communities in which they operate and have built a strong reputation for quality, reliability and customer service.

Due to continued growth, they are now opening a new operation in Geraldton, WA, creating an exciting opportunity for a hands-on General Hand / Warehouse Operator to join the team from the beginning and play an important role in establishing the new site.

The Role
Working within the cement industry, you will be involved in a range of hands-on warehouse and yard duties, including:

- Loading flatbed trucks
- Assisting with splitting the bottom of bags/hoppers
- Tipping product into tankers
- General yard and warehouse duties
- Ensuring products are loaded and handled safely and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures

As this is a new operation, you may initially be required to travel to Adelaide for approximately one week to complete training before commencing at the Geraldton site. This is a hands-on, physical role suited to someone who enjoys working in an industrial environment and isn't afraid to get stuck in.

About You
We are looking for someone who is reliable,



hardworking and happy to get stuck in.

To be considered, you will have:

- Previous experience in a warehouse, yard, construction, manufacturing or industrial environment
- A current Australian driver's licence
- The ability to undertake regular manual handling and physical work
- A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
- Good safety awareness
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and DAS
- Full Australian working rights (sorry no holiday visa's)

Experience within the cement, concrete, construction or mining industries will be highly regarded, however, a great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.

What's on Offer?

- Salary circa $80,000 + super
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00am - 3:00pm approx.
- Full-time, stable position
- Brand-new operation based in Geraldton, WA
- Initial training in Adelaide for approximately one week may be required
