We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to help grow Bahco's presence in the market. Trusted by professionals since 1886, Bahco is a leading European manufacturer of premium hand tools known for quality, innovation, and performance.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing an established sales territory, building strong customer relationships, and driving sales growth. This role focuses on increasing market share, maximising sales volumes, and identifying new business opportunities while delivering exceptional customer service and support.

The successful applicant will become a part of a high performing, close knit team and supported by a well differentiated, market-leading product range while contributing to the ongoing success of the business and its customers.

The role will require approximately one week per month of regional travel, including a combination of driving and air travel throughout Far North Queensland, Northern New South Wales, and Western Queensland. Candidates should be comfortable with frequent travel and overnight stays as required to support customer and business needs.

Location: Brisbane and surrounding areas preferred.

The incumbent will be employed by SNA Europe (SNAE) which is the European hand tools division of Snap-on Incorporated, the US-listed global tool manufacturer. The Australian head office is located in Sydney.

Key responsibilities:

1. Managing existing customer base by generating sales, achieving and exceeding territory targets, establishing new business opportunities across distribution and trade channels

2. Developing and implementing territory plans to support retail distribution, increasing brand awareness and driving end user demand and product sell through.

3. Developing and executing effective territory call plans to ensure customers and prospects are visited regularly, in a cost-effective manner.

4. Focusing sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.





5. Preparing and presenting product presentations, sales presentations and product training to customers and prospects.

6. Preparing weekly sales reports and maintaining customer records through CRM.

7. Monitoring competitor activity and market trends including pricing, product developments and promotions.

8. Provide market feedback relative to products and services based on customer insights and competitor developments.

9. Resolving customer issues by investigating difficulties, developing solutions and coordinating with internal resources.

10. Ensuring a high standard of retail merchandising and brand presentation.

About you:

You are highly motivated, customer-focused, and results-driven, with a strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude. You demonstrate a commitment to achieving success, building lasting customer relationships, and upholding the core values of SNA Europe (Australia).

- Proven experience in external sales and territory management positions.

- Experience within the tooling, industrial, or hardware industries or similar.

- A technical aptitude, with a demonstrated understanding of tooling products and applications.

- Excellent communication and relationship building skills, both within the internal team environment and externally with customers.

- Robust presentation and product training skills,

- Computer proficiencies including CRM and Microsoft office applications.

- Effective territory management, planning and time management skills.

Job requirements:

- Valid driver's licence with flexibility to travel to customer sites as needed.

- Undertake police check and pre-employment medical.

- Permanent work rights in Australia (citizen or permanent residency).
