The Roles
Due to continued growth, MCA Engineering is seeking experienced Underground Operators - Tilt Tray Operators, Loader Operators, Excavator Operators, Telehandler Operators and Concrete Pump Operators for a major underground construction project in Central West NSW.
Depending on your experience and qualifications, your duties may include:
- Operating plant and equipment to support underground construction activities
- Loading, moving and positioning materials, equipment and components
- Operating tilt trays to transport equipment and materials
- Completing excavation and earthmoving work
- Operating telehandlers to move and place materials
- Operating concrete pumps to support underground pours
- Conducting pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
- Identifying and reporting equipment faults or maintenance requirements
- Working safely with supervisors, trades and construction crews in accordance with site procedures
About You
- Previous experience operating tilt trays, loaders, excavators, telehandlers or concrete pumps
- Underground mining or construction experience
- Relevant licences, tickets and machinery competencies for your role
- Ability to conduct pre-start inspections and identify equipment faults
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Availability to work a 2:1 roster across day and night shifts
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
