Eskleigh Foundation is looking for a People & Safety Advisor to join our People & Culture team. This newly created role brings together our people and workplace safety functions into one hands-on, varied position — perfect for someone who wants genuine breadth across HR and WHS, and the autonomy to make the role their own.

You'll partner with leaders across our sites to support recruitment, employee relations, and performance processes, while also owning our day-to-day workplace health and safety function — incident management, workers compensation and return-to-work coordination, and our WHS Committee. You'll play a key role in building a safety culture that's proactive rather than reactive, and be a trusted, visible presence for leaders and teams across the state.

We know great people don't all fit a 9-to-5, full-time mould — this role is genuinely adaptable. Whether you're after full-time hours, a 4-day or 3-day week, or hours that work around the school pick-up, we want to hear from you.

What you'll bring:

- At least 3 years' experience in a generalist HR/P&C; role

- Degree in Human Resource Management





- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (preferred)

- Current Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel to sites across Tasmania

- A genuine passion for people, safety, and a culture of care

Desirable (not essential):

- Experience in the community services, disability, or health sector
