About the Role

An exciting opportunity to join the Shire of Murray's Tourism, Place and Events team and play a key role in promoting one of Western Australia's most diverse and inspiring visitor destinations.

You'll support a range of tourism, destination marketing and digital initiatives across Dwellingup – Australia's Top Tiny Tourism Town 2023 – Pinjarra, and the wider Murray River WA region.

You'll also contribute to the Shire's vibrant calendar of events, assisting with digital content and marketing activities for much-loved events including the Pinjarra Festival, Dwellingup 100, Plein AirDown Under and Christmas on the Murray.

The position on offer is a part-time position working 51 hours per fortnight. An EBA Level 5 salary between $80,883.51 and $85,107.48 (pro rata) per annum will be offered based upon skills, knowledge and experience.

About You

You will bring:

- Excellent communication and professional writing skills with the ability to engage with different audiences by adapting your style.
- Sound interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders, and to thrive in a team environment.
- Strong grasp of current techniques and strategies for digital marketing.




- Experience managing social media content and business marketing suites such as Meta.
- Demonstrated experience of updating or editing websites and social media content.
