About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Quality & Compliance Coordinator to support our Animal Nutrition & Commodities function, based at our Greenmount Mill in Toowoomba.
Reporting to the Business Manager - Animal Nutrition and Commodities and working closely with our Feed Mill Site Managers and operational teams, this is a wide-ranging role coordinating quality assurance, compliance systems and operational administration across the feed mills.
The role will support quality and certification requirements, audits, Chain of Responsibility and heavy vehicle compliance, policies and procedures, training and induction materials, while also providing broader administrative and operational support across the feed mills and Animal Nutrition & Commodities function.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, has a strong eye for detail and takes ownership of ensuring systems, documentation and processes are accurate, current and well managed.
Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Include:
- Coordinating and maintaining quality assurance systems, records and documentation.
- Supporting FeedSafe,
ISO and other relevant quality and compliance requirements.
- Coordinating internal and external audits, inspections and certification activities.
- Maintaining compliance registers and supporting Chain of Responsibility and National Heavy Vehicle Law requirements.
- Developing and maintaining policies, procedures, work instructions and other controlled documents.
- Developing and maintaining training manuals, induction materials and competency documentation.
- Providing administrative and operational support across the feed mills and Animal Nutrition & Commodities function.
- Supporting commodity contract administration and associated record keeping.
- Coordinating bonds management and associated documentation.
- Completing monthly price lists and updating margin settings for bonds and mixing sheets.
- Managing and maintaining mixing sheets.
- Maintaining bills of materials and relevant operational information.
- Working closely with Site Managers and other stakeholders to improve and standardise systems, processes and documentation.
About You
You are organised, detail focused and proactive, with the ability to manage a diverse range of responsibilities and priorities.
You enjoy working collaboratively with operational teams but are equally comfortable taking ownership of your own work. You have strong administration and documentation skills and understand the importance of accuracy, consistency and follow-through in a quality and compliance environment.
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- Experience in quality assurance, compliance,
operations administration or a similar coordination role.
- Strong administration, record keeping and document management skills.
- Experience developing and maintaining policies, procedures and controlled documentation.
- Experience supporting audits, certification or regulatory compliance activities.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written communication and documentation skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with operational teams.
- Experience in feed milling, agriculture, manufacturing, food production or another regulated environment would be highly regarded.
- Knowledge of FeedSafe, ISO, Chain of Responsibility or National Heavy Vehicle Law requirements would be advantageous.
- Experience supporting commodity, procurement or contract administration would also be highly regarded.
