QLS has a permanent full-time opportunity for a Team Lead, Design to join our Marketing and Design team. The Marketing and Design team creates compelling campaigns, visual communications and branded experiences that promote QLS services, programs, events and advocacy initiatives, helping to strengthen member engagement and enhance the Society's visibility across the legal profession and wider community.

The Team Lead, Design is responsible for the development and delivery of high-quality creative communications that strengthen QLS's brand, support member engagement and contribute to organisational objectives. As the organisation's senior design specialist, the role provides creative leadership across print, digital and multimedia channels, ensuring visual communications are strategic, audience-focused and aligned with brand standards.

In this role you will:

- Lead the development and delivery of high-quality creative assets across a range of channels, platforms and formats, ensuring alignment with brand standards and audience needs. ·
- Provide creative leadership, strategic advice and specialist design expertise to support campaigns, events and member engagement initiatives. ·
- Manage the delivery of complex design projects, balancing stakeholder requirements, quality standards and timelines. ·
- Champion and maintain the QLS brand, overseeing brand assets, design systems and templates to ensure consistency across all creative outputs. ·
- Lead, coach and support design team members, fostering capability development and a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

Ideally you will have the following:

- Tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design, Visual Communication,



Digital Design or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in graphic design, visual communication or creative services, including the delivery of complex print, digital and multimedia projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, with strong understanding of branding and visual identity principles.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities while delivering quality outcomes within agreed timeframes.
- Experience providing creative leadership, mentoring or professional guidance, with the ability to influence stakeholders and provide trusted creative advice.
