We’re looking for someone passionate about play, families and community connection to join our toy library team.

This role involves the day-to-day running of the toy library, including memberships, toy borrowing and returns, cataloguing, toy cleaning and maintenance, and general administration.

The role also includes supporting and facilitating weekly Stay & Play sessions, assisting with set up and pack down, preparing simple play-based activities, and creating a welcoming, engaging environment for children and families.

Approx. 15 hours per week.

Hours:

- Wednesdays - Stay and Play Session (9am -12pm)

- Thursday - 9am – 12pm

- Friday - 2pm - 5pm

- First Saturday of the month 9am – 12pm

Some flexibility may be required for outreach and events.

What you'll be doing

- Maintaining and organising the toy library collection





- Assisting families with toy borrowing and memberships

- Supporting mobile playgroup sessions

- Helping with set up, pack down and activities

- Promoting our services within the community

- Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment

What we're looking for

- Passion for play, children and families

- Robust communication and organisational skills

- Ability to work independently and in a small team

- Working With Children Check and First Aid Certificate

- Experience in early childhood, community services or playgroups is desirable
