Workforce International are currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious High Reach Forklift Operator to join our client’s quick-paced logistics warehouse team, located in Kewdale.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced forklift operator with strong warehouse and pick/pack experience.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm (hours may be flexible and potential for overtime)
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a high-reach forklift to move, store and retrieve stock throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods and accurately position stock within racking.
- Undertake pick and pack duties, ensuring orders are accurately prepared for dispatch.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including stock movement, receipting and organising inventory.
- Conduct stock checks and maintain accurate product placement.
- Follow warehouse procedures,
pedestrian safety requirements and designated forklift operating zones.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily warehouse and dispatch requirements.
Requirements:
- Valid Forklift (LF) licence with proven high-reach forklift experience.
- Previous experience in pick and pack and general warehouse operations.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and pedestrian awareness.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift in a busy warehouse environment.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy when picking and preparing orders.
- Reliable, punctual and physically fit for warehouse duties.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team.
