The opportunity

Joining a team of skilled professionals, this role will see you support the Principal in Spiritual, Educational, Community and Administrative Leadership.

You will assist the Principal by

- providing leadership and oversight of professional practice of teachers at St Mary’s College

- playing a vital role in the induction, mentoring and career development

- modelling best practice in planning, teaching, assessment and reporting

- supporting and promoting the ideals of Catholic education, Edmund Rice charism, the Catholic Church and the College’s vision, mission and values.

About You

- Demonstrated experience in leading, planning and managing the implementation of College-wide professional learning and capacity-building initiatives that enhance teaching practice, support leadership development and improve student outcomes.

- Passionate about co-creating a nurturing school environment.

- Hold or be eligible to hold, registration as a teacher in Queensland.
