About the roles

This is an exciting time to join Lotterywest.

With the introduction of the new WA 2029 Bicentenary Grants Program and several internal back-fill opportunities, we are recruiting for four positions within our Grants and Community Development team:

- 2 x Lead Grants Development (12 months to 2 years fixed term)
- 1 x Lead Grants Development, WA 2029 Bicentenary (2 years fixed term)
- 1 x Manager Grants Management & Stewardship (9 to 12 months fixed term)

All positions have the possibility of extension and or/permanency.

We’re looking for

Lead Grants Development

We're seeking experienced grants and community development professionals who thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. In this role, you will work closely with communities, not-for-profit organisations, government agencies and sector partners to understand emerging needs, identify opportunities and facilitate Lotterywest investment that delivers meaningful community outcomes.

You will lead the development and assessment of grant opportunities, provide strategic advice and contribute to grant recommendations that align with Lotterywest's priorities. Success in this role requires a balance of strategic thinking, relationship building and analytical nous. You'll be equally comfortable considering broad community trends and opportunities while managing the detail required to progress grant assessments.

Lead Grants Development WA 2029 Bicentenary

This role will play a key part in delivering Lotterywest's WA 2029 Bicentenary Grants Program, supporting projects that acknowledge and reflect on Western Australia's shared history while helping shape a connected and inclusive future.

Working with communities across the State, you will identify, develop and assess grant opportunities that encourage participation, storytelling, commemoration and community connection. You will engage with a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure initiatives are delivered in a respectful, meaningful and inclusive way.

Manager Grants Management & Stewardship





The Manager Grants Management & Stewardship leads a small team responsible for the effective management, monitoring and stewardship of Lotterywest's active grant portfolio.

You’ll be a detail-oriented grants management professional who is as comfortable looking at reviewing income and expenditure statements and preparing payments, as they are working flexibly with customers to ensure grant funds are best utilised to support outcomes.

We’re looking for someone who has experience managing complex contract agreement and is familiar with grant making and community development approaches. You’ll be relationship centred and solution oriented, with experience managing and coaching.
