The Role
We are currently seeking mechanical fitters, boilermakers and trades assistants for our shutdown team.

Key Responsibilities for Mechanical Fitters

· Asset inspections, reporting & preventative maintenance

· Precision maintenance and shutdown repairs

· Vibrating/rotating equipment installs

· Conveyor maintenance & mine site refurbishments

· Major asset overhauls

· Reading and interpreting engineering drawing.

Key Responsibilities for Boilermakers

· Light, medium, and heavy structural fabrication

· Read and follow fabrications drawings, including angular joints, TKY joints, and calculating dimensions from work points

· Precise fabrication of bespoke structural items to strict tolerances

· Ability to pre-set and straighten workpieces as required

· Asset inspections, reporting & preventative maintenance

· Precision maintenance and shutdown repairs

About You





You will need to provide the following information upon application:

· 1+ Year in Mining Industry

· Construction White Card

· Applicants must hold an Australian recognised mechanical trade qualification

· Working at Heights Certificate (less than 2 years)

· Enter and Work in Confined Space Certificate (less than 2 years)

· Gas Test Atmospheres

· Demonstrate First Attack Firefighting

· Current drivers license

· High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) is advantageous

· Willingness to learn new techniques, tools, and methods to expand your skillset

· Positive attitude and a commitment to excellence

· Candidates must hold permanent residency status in Australia (passport/visa or birth certificate required)
