About the Role:

The Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program is a government-funded initiative that helps people aged 15+ develop the language, literacy, numeracy, and digital skills needed to participate confidently in further education, training, and employment.

As a Foundation Skills Trainer, you'll create engaging learning experiences that help participants build skills, confidence, and independence. Working from our Gympie site, you'll support individuals from diverse backgrounds to overcome barriers, achieve their goals, and unlock new opportunities.

What You'll Do

- Deliver engaging foundation skills training to adult learners
- Facilitate face-to-face learning in a supportive and inclusive environment
- Adapt training approaches and resources to meet varying learner needs
- Deliver LLND training aligned with RTO requirements and relevant standards
- Assess, monitor, and record participant progress and outcomes
- Foster learner engagement, confidence, and achievement

What You Bring:

Essential

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116, TAE40110 or equivalent)
- TAESSS00026 Foundation Skills Integration Skill Set or TAESS00009 Address Foundation Skills in Vocational Practice Skill Set (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or equivalent registration (or ability to obtain prior to commencement)
- Ongoing right to work in Australia
- Ability to obtain a satisfactory National Police Check (or ability to obtain prior to commencement)

Highly Regarded

- Experience teaching adult literacy, numeracy, language or EAL learners
- Specialist Adult Literacy or TESOL qualification
