The Chance

Provide trauma-informed legal support across family law and domestic violence in Cairns, Townsville or Mackay. Skip the billables and timekeeping of private practice, and make a genuine difference for women across North Queensland.

Duties

- Provide trauma-informed legal advice, referrals and casework

- Draft correspondence and legal documentation, liaising on behalf of clients

- Participate in community legal education and outreach

- Support and mentor junior colleagues when required

- Maintain high professional, ethical and compliance standards

Skills & Experience

- Bachelor of Laws and unrestricted QLD/High Court Practising Certificate

- Minimum 3 years post-admission legal experience

- Expertise in family law and domestic violence casework

- Blue Card (Working with Children) and C Class Driver Licence

- Ability to work autonomously in a geographically dispersed team
