AMI Group is Australia and Southeast Asia’s leading wholesale distributor and agent for some of the world’s best marine, electronic, offshore and safety products.

We’re looking for a positive, motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join our small and supportive team at our Ormeau office on the Gold Coast.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, likes variety in their day and wants to become part of a close-knit team where their contribution genuinely matters.

What you’ll be doing

Working closely with our customers and the wider AMI team, you’ll be involved in:

- Telephone sales and customer service

- Responding to customer enquiries

- Processing customer orders

- Providing product and sales support

- Building strong relationships with customers

- General office and administrative duties

- Working across different areas of the business as you develop your skills

No two days need to be the same. We’re looking for someone with an open mind who is happy to learn, pitch in and take on current responsibilities as opportunities arise.

About you

You’ll be a reliable, enthusiastic person who takes pride in doing a great job. You’ll enjoy being part of a small team, while also being confident working independently and taking initiative.

We’re looking for someone with:

- Excellent organisation and time-management skills

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Excellent attention to detail

- A strong work ethic and positive attitude

- The ability to work independently and use initiative

- Competency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook

- A professional and polite telephone manner





- A genuine willingness to learn and develop

Marine industry experience or boating knowledge is desirable, but not essential. If you have a love of boating, that’s certainly a bonus — but attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are just as important.

What we offer

- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm.

- 10 additional paid Well Being Days per year after the qualifying period (conditions apply)
