The Opportunity
We are seeking an passionate Reservations Agent to join our busy reservations team. You will need to be highly motivated in an environment where exceeding the expectations of our customers is the minimum standard.

Our Reservations Department is an extremely important department as their primary role is the responsibility for selling our guest rooms and they must do so with a sense of pride, passion and professionalism.

This full time role works a Monday to Friday day roster, with occasional public holiday coverage as required.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include but not limit to:

- Handling reservations enquiries and making reservations, ensuring our rooms are facilities are accurately described to our potential guests to best match the guest with the room type.

- Providing timely responses to email and phone enquiries regarding accommodation and hotel services

- Selling all hotel facilities





- Assisting with group enquiries and corporate sales enquiries

- Providing assistance and support to our front desk operations team

- Ability to be knowledgeable about all types of accommodation and have a solid grasp on rate and room type availability

About you

The ideal candidate will need to meet the following requirements:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- A warm and professional phone manner

- The ability to work in a fast-paced workplace

- Superior time management skills

- Previous reservations experience with a hotel group preferred

- The ability to work a rotating roster including evenings and weekends

- Experience with HMS would be ideal

- Be organised.
