A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a leading Australian business. This is a high-impact, hands-on opportunity for an experienced finance qualified to take ownership of complex reconciliations, resolve historical discrepancies and strengthen financial controls across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of complex balance sheet, bank and P&L; reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve outstanding and historical reconciling items
- Complete intercompany reconciliations across multiple entities
- Assist with FY25/26 tax returns
- Identify discrepancies, control gaps and required adjustments
- Support month-end and broader financial reporting requirements
- Work within NetSuite to investigate transactions and reconcile accounts
About You
- CA/CPA qualified, or equivalent
- Strong financial control and reconciliation background
- Confident working through complex or outstanding reconciliations
- Strong understanding of balance sheet controls and intercompany accounting
- Previous experience supporting tax return preparation
- NetSuite experience highly regarded
- Able to work independently and hit the ground running
