We are looking for a Kerber/Concreter to join our team at GMF Contractors. As a Kerber/Concreter, you will be responsible for the construction and maintenance of kerbs and other concrete structures across various construction sites in the Perth, WA area. This is a full-time position offering competitive remuneration and the opportunity to work for a reputable organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of kerbs and other concrete structures
- Prepare and shape concrete for kerb construction
- Kerb finishing / Trowelling
- Operate hand tools and power tools as required for kerb work
- Ensure work is completed to high quality standards and in compliance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with the construction team to efficiently complete projects
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
What we're looking for
- Proven concrete experience with kerbing, Joins, Make ups and steers experience
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools for concrete work
- Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations
- HR License - Desirable
