THE OPPORTUNITY

Help franchisees turn empty spaces into thriving Plus Fitness gyms and give established clubs a fresh new look! This is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering parental leave, and a great chance to make a real impact in a short time.

Joining our Projects team, you'll be the trusted guide for franchisees through every stage of their new fit-out or refurbishment, from the first site concept to the moment they get the keys. You'll help them bring on the right contractors, work hand in hand with head contractors to keep things moving, and make sure every site delivers on the Plus Fitness brand. No two projects are the same, which means no two weeks are either.

You'll be the connector between franchisees, our Plus Fitness and Viva Leisure teams and external partners, keeping everyone aligned and decisions on track. You'll also have the chance to shape the systems, documentation and processes that make every future project run smoother, so your impact goes well beyond a single site. With some travel across the network, you'll get out of the office and onto the ground to see your work take shape.

Plus Fitness is part of Viva Leisure, an ASX-listed health and fitness group with more than 200 locations across eight brands, including Club Lime, World Gym and Club Pilates. You'll be based in our beautiful Sydney head office in Beaconsfield. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Be the go-to contact for franchisees and their project teams, building robust relationships with internal teams, contractors and suppliers
- Guide franchisees through new fit-outs and refurbishments, delivering on time, on budget and within scope
- Help develop project programmes and budgets, then track and report on progress to keep everyone in the loop
- Support franchisees to procure contractors and suppliers through a fair, transparent process that delivers great value
- Keep every site looking and feeling unmistakably Plus Fitness, wherever it is in the network
- Carry out defect inspections and compliance checks at completion so each gym opens ready to go
- Spot opportunities to save costs, lift quality and improve how projects are delivered
- Work autonomously, solve problems as they come up and keep communication clear, honest and proactive

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for someone with:

Education & Qualifications

- Certification in Project Management or a related discipline (desirable)
- Relevant tertiary qualification in construction, project management, property, or a related field (desirable)
- Current Driver’s Licence

Skills & Experience

- Demonstrated experience in a similar Project Manager role within a franchise or multi-site network,



including supporting owners or franchisees through fit-outs from conception through to completion and handover to the franchisee
- Experience within the fitness, health and leisure industry (preferred)
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across geographically dispersed franchised sites, balancing competing priorities in a timely and efficient manner
- Strong understanding of managing projects within agreed time, cost and quality parameters while maintaining consistent brand standards across the network
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to identify risks and issues quickly and implement practical, outcome-focused solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and manage franchisees alongside internal and external stakeholders
- Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers and consultants, including franchisee-appointed trades, to achieve project deliverables
- Working knowledge of a franchisor–franchisee operating model, including brand standards compliance, franchisee expectations and the commercial pressures of a site opening programme
- Strong stakeholder management skills, ensuring franchisees and all other parties are informed, aligned and accountable throughout the project lifecycle
