Are you an experienced residential Draftsperson who wants to do more than just produce plans?

You'll create new home designs, customise solutions for clients, and contribute to the ongoing development of home ranges and display homes, working closely with internal departments and key stakeholders to deliver compliant, high-quality design outcomes.

About the role

You'll assist with the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of standard home designs and display homes, while tailoring solutions to meet individual client briefs.
Your day-to-day will include:

- Researching market trends to design and develop innovative display homes and custom home solutions
- Tailoring designs to meet client briefs, council regulations and site constraints while maintaining aesthetic and functional appeal
- Interpreting and incorporating Developer Addenda and guidelines accurately into project plans
- Liaising with external stakeholders including engineers, surveyors,



local authorities and sales to support compliant design outcomes
- Providing technical design advice across new developments and future growth projects

What we're looking for

We're looking for an experienced residential Draftsperson who can hit the ground running.
You'll ideally have:

- Cert IV in Residential Drafting or equivalent industry experience
- Previous experience within residential design only - civil experience will not be considered
- Local WA experience is essential
- Proven knowledge of residential design, drafting and construction
- Sound understanding of Australian Building Codes, WA construction requirements and local council regulations
- Experience using Archicad and relevant residential building software
- Strong communication, time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to produce a high level of accuracy and quality under pressure or time restraints
