Midvale

About Us

LGC Traffic Management is a leading provider of traffic management solutions in Western Australia. Over the past 12 years, LGC has grown to become WA's largest integrated traffic management, rail services and equipment hire business.

We are committed to delivering safe and efficient traffic control, rail and equipment hire services to a diverse range of clients across the construction, infrastructure and events sectors. Our core values of Safety, Trust, Respect, Communication and Teamwork guide everything we do, and we are proud to be an employer of choice within our industry.

The Role

LGC Traffic Management is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable & Billing Officer to join our Finance Team at our Head Office in Midvale.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is responsible for validating operational data, preparing accurate invoices and ensuring supporting documentation is complete for our clients.

Unlike a traditional Accounts Receivable role, this position focuses primarily on billing, invoicing and data reconciliation, with minimal debt collection activity. The role requires someone who enjoys working with large volumes of information, investigating discrepancies and ensuring every invoice is accurate before being issued.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end invoicing process.

- Review and verify traffic management timesheets, daily diaries and supporting documentation for invoicing purposes.

- Reconcile information across multiple systems to ensure billing accuracy.

- Investigate and resolve discrepancies prior to invoice generation.

- Compile claim sheets and supporting records for client invoicing.

- Maintain accurate records across finance and operational systems.

- Communicate with clients regarding invoicing queries and supporting documentation requests.

- Respond to internal account enquiries in a professional and timely manner.

- Collaborate with Operations, Scheduling and Finance teams to support accurate revenue processing.

- Assist the broader Finance Team as required.

- Contribute to a culture aligned with LGC's values of Safety, Trust, Respect, Communication and Teamwork.

About You

To be successful in this position, you will ideally have experience in an Accounts Receivable, Billing, Payroll, Finance Administration, Project Administration or high-volume data processing environment.

You will also possess:

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

- Experience processing, validating or reconciling large volumes of data.

- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.

- The ability to identify discrepancies and investigate issues independently.

- A proactive and collaborative approach to supporting team outcomes.

- Experience using Xero or similar accounting software.

- Exposure to Traffio, SAP, SharePoint or similar business systems will be highly regarded.

Why Join LGC?

- Join WA's largest integrated traffic management business.

- Work with major infrastructure and government clients across Western Australia.

- Be part of a supportive and collaborative Finance Team.

- Secure full-time employment with a growing organisation.

- Contemporary Midvale office location with onsite parking.

- Opportunities for professional growth and development.
