About The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager to join our team at Tucker Fresh Darch IGA.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Front End team and ensuring our customers receive an exceptional level of service every time they visit the store.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Front End, including team leadership and development, rostering, service standards, customer enquiries, cash handling and maintaining a smooth and efficient checkout operation.

You will work closely with the Store Manager and other department managers to continually improve the customer experience, develop your team and contribute to the overall performance of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead your team to deliver on our promise that “Every Local is Loved.”

- Lead, coach and develop the Front End team to deliver consistently high customer service standards.





- Create a welcoming and positive experience for customers throughout the store.

- Build strong relationships with customers and respond professionally to enquiries, feedback and concerns.

- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Front End, ensuring checkouts are appropriately staffed and operating efficiently.

- Coordinate team rosters and daily staffing requirements in line with operational needs.

- Train and support new and existing team members to ensure they are confident in their roles and understand our service expectations.

- Manage cash handling, till procedures and other Front End processes accurately and in accordance with company procedures.

- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and safety across the Front End.

- Monitor customer feedback and identify opportunities to continually improve the customer experience.

- Work collaboratively with the Store Manager and other department managers to support store operations and achieve overall store goals.

- Ensure company policies, procedures and workplace health & safety requirements are consistently followed.

Skills & Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Recent relevant supermarket or retail experience.

- Previous leadership or supervisory experience within customer service, Front End or retail.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop a successful team.





- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

- Experience with rostering, team coordination and day-to-day operational requirements.

- Strong cash handling and reconciliation skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced retail environment.

- A hands-on leadership style and willingness to support your team wherever required.

- A positive attitude, high energy and genuine commitment to continually improving customer and team experiences.

- A current National Police Clearance, or the ability to obtain one prior to commencement, is essential.
