About the role

Jaskro Trading is seeking a skilled MC Truck Driver to join our transport operations team. This is a full time or part time roll based in Mortlake, Victoria. As an MC Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining Multiple combination trucks, ensuring timely delivery of goods whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

- Operate multiple combination trucks safely and efficiently in compliance with all traffic laws and company

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify maintenance issues and ensure roadworthiness

- Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery records and documentation as required by regulatory authorities

- Load, secure and unload cargo safely, ensuring goods are protected during transport

- Communicate with dispatch and other team members regarding delivery status and any delays or issues

- Maintain a professional demeanour with customers and clients at all times

- Adhere to work health and safety procedures and report any incidents or hazards immediately

- Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained, reporting any mechanical issues promptly

What we're looking for

- Current and valid MC Class (multi Combination) license

- Proven experience operating medium combination trucks in commercial transport

- Robust knowledge of road safety regulations,



fatigue management and traffic laws

- Excellent time management and route planning abilities

- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions whilst on the road

- Good communication skills

- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks safely

- Reliability and commitment to punctuality

- First Aid certification is highly desirable
