About the role

We are a cozy wine bar with a small yet tight team. we have been reviewed by SMH Good Food Guide with a score of 14.5/20 and aim to improve our position within the guide.

We are looking for a passionate and hands on Sous Chef or Strong Chef De Partie with the potential to step into a senior role to join our team.

The position will require a minimum of 4-5 years of working experience including cooking on the main section. We are also happy to mentor and help you to grow and develop your skills ie. goals to open your own restaurant, menu development or Costing a menu etc.

Main Characteristic we are looking for

Can do attitude- has a valuable work ethic, also is able to jump in to help with any situation as everyone including the Head Chef and General Manager are both hands on.





Great Cook- as mentioned the role is a hands on role the Sous is expected to help with food Prep as well as cook during service.

Organise- as we are a small team you'll need to be organise with prep, organising the kitchen and assist in managing daily operations as well as stay composed during a busy service.

Creativity- not crucial however any ideas with menu development would be great to have some input on the menu.

Mentoring- mentoring Cooks under you to help guide them to improve their skills and efficiency in the kithchen
