About the role

We are looking for 2 Baggage Porter Superstars to partner with our existing team of Mishandled Luggage Officers to deliver high-performance standards in customer processing of passenger luggage!

Main Accountabilities include:

- Customer service - assessing the needs of the customer

- Covering the oversize carousel and removing baggage and handing to passengers as required

- Assisting passengers at the baggage carousels, including removing baggage

- Loading and unloading baggage from trolleys and pushing/moving between customs hall and MHL office (and any other locations as required)

- Assists and transports passengers requiring wheelchair assistance

- Assists passengers with reduced mobility and unaccompanied minors in transporting and claiming personal belongings and baggage.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Ability to lift up to 32 kg repeatedly

- Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster without restrictions.

- Professional and courteous communication skills, both verbal and written





- Excellent organisational skills and multitasking ability.

- Ability to work cohesively in a team environment

- Applicants will be required to undergo a Police check, Airport security check and pre-employment medical as part of the standard conditions of employment.
