We have great opportunities at our Karri & Tuart Lodge for a Domestic. Working with the Kitchen, Servery and Cleaning teams with raafa means helping to provide a warm, welcoming environment for staff and residents alike.

Working across kitchen, servery, cleaning and laundry services, you will collaborate closely with hospitality and clinical teams to ensure residents receive high-quality service and care. Our Domestic team members typically commence in one area and are cross-trained across all service areas, providing flexibility and variety in the role while supporting team needs.

The role and you:

- Performing all food handling duties in accordance with Foodsafe Hygiene Regulations;
- Cleaning duties as per the kitchen cleaning schedules and documenting when duties are completed;
- Communication with residents and staff to ensure that meals and snacks provided meet quality and choice expectations;
- Assisting residents with choices from the menu as published;
- Contribute to a safe working environment by identifying or reporting all incidents, accidents and hazards;
- Contribute to maintaining a home-like environment for residents.

We are one of Australia’s largest not-for-profit retirement living and aged care providers, supporting thousands of people across Western Australia through retirement living, residential aged care, home care,



membership and clubs. We are also home to an aviation museum that celebrates the proud history of the Air Force Association in WA. Through our Andrew Russell Veteran Living Program (ARVL), veteran research and services, we support those who have served our country to live fulfilling lives.

The Merriwa Estate and Cambrai Village are home to two of our Residential Care Centres in Merriwa: Karri & Tuart Lodge and Vivian Bullwinkel Lodge.

We would love for you to join us at Karri and Tuart Lodge as a Domestic. Karri and Tuart Lodge is a refurbished 110 bed Residential Care Centre located in the northern suburb of Merriwa at 19 Hughie Edwards Drive. Here we offer, permanent, respite and secure dementia care..
