ABOUT WESBEAM

Wesbeam manufactures laminated veneer lumber (LVL) and engineered wood products at Neerabup, north of Perth, using plantation-grown pine, and supplies the Australian building industry through a national network of regional distribution centres.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Wesbeam is seeking an accomplished supply-chain executive to take end-to-end accountability for our national supply chain. This newly framed leadership mandate spans inbound supply, supply planning, inventory, warehousing, logistics and supporting our regional distribution centres and customer fulfilment.

As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will partner closely with the CEO and leaders across Manufacturing, Sales and Finance to build an enhanced integrated operating model. Your focus will be to ensure supply reliably supports manufacturing requirements and customer demand while improving working capital, service performance, resilience and total supply-chain cost.

THE MANDATE

- Set and execute Wesbeam's national supply-chain strategy, operating model and performance agenda.

- Lead WA warehousing and support regional distribution operations, establishing consistent standards for safety, service, productivity and control.

- Manage inbound and outbound freight, carrier performance, logistics-provider relationships and total delivered cost.





- Own customer fulfilment performance, including DIFOT/DIFOTA, and address systemic causes of service failure.

- Lead supply planning and the supply component of S&OP;, creating forward visibility of demand, material requirements, inventory, capacity constraints and risk.

- Own inventory across critical raw materials, third-party products, finished goods and the national network, balancing availability with working capital.

- Manage the supply-chain operating budget and build an accountable, commercially focused team with transparent measures and a culture of continuous improvement.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

- Senior end-to-end supply-chain leadership experience in manufacturing, building products, industrial products or a similarly complex environment.

- Hands-on experience across inbound supply, supply planning and S&OP;, inventory, warehousing, logistics and distribution.

- Experience leading geographically dispersed warehouse or distribution operations.

- A track record of improving service, inventory, working capital, logistics and supply-chain cost performance.

- Commercial and financial acumen, supported by strong analytical capability and an ability to improve systems,



data and performance visibility.

- Credibility as a people leader who can establish accountability, operational discipline and constructive cross-functional partnerships.

- Experience managing suppliers, carriers and third-party logistics providers, together with strong safety, WHS and chain-of-responsibility leadership.

- Experience in timber, building products or construction supply will be highly regarded, but is not essential.

Success will be reflected in stronger supplier performance, improved inventory accuracy and days on hand, increased stock availability and DIFOT/DIFOTA, lower freight and distribution cost, improved cost-to-serve and working-capital performance, and strong safety and budget results.
