We are looking to fill a fulltime Winemaker position at our Yenda Winery. The ideal addition to our winemaking team will be a passionate and driven individual with large winery experience.

Responsibilities will include:

- Vinification and preparation of high-quality wines
- Working within a team environment
- Develop new wine styles in line with customers’ expectations
- Public Relations/Wine Tastings
- Trial work to improve quality and cost reduction
- Monitor safety standards and ensure cellar operations are conducted in accordance with safety requirements





The ideal candidate will have:

- Tertiary or equivalent degree in Winemaking or Oenology
- Demonstrated large winery experience
- A team player with effective leadership and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently, managing your own workload and priorities
- Show evidence of excellent supervision, organising and planning skills including use of computer systems
- Demonstrate good presentation and effective communication skills
- A practical understanding of running a large winery on a profitable basis

This is a long-term career opportunity with ongoing mentorship and supportive management. An attractive remuneration package, with the prospect for relocation, will be offered to the successful applicant, commensurate with experience and suitability.
