About the Role

Amazing Grace Community Services is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team on a part time basis.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care, clinical guidance, and support to clients with a range of health and disability needs. The role will also involve supporting and training care staff to safely manage high-intensity and complex care requirements.

You will work collaboratively with clients, families, support workers, healthcare professionals, government agencies, and external healthcare providers to ensure care is delivered safely, respectfully, and in a person-centred manner.

This is a part-time position, with working hours scheduled based on client needs, organisational requirements, and the successful candidate’s availability.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide safe and effective nursing care in accordance with professional standards.

- Conduct clinical assessments and monitor client health outcomes.

- Develop, implement,



and evaluate care plans.

- Train and support staff to provide high intensity care needs to the client.

- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, government agency and external healthcare providers.

- Respond to clinical incidents and changes in client health status.

- Promote a safe and supportive environment for clients and staff.

Essential Requirements

- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).

- Current National Police Clearance.

- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Experience in training delivery.

- Current Australian Driver's Licence.

- Experience working in disability services, community nursing, mental health, or DVA.

Desirable Experience

- Knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators.

- Experience with medication management and clinical governance processes.
