What you will do

As Senior Sourcing Specialist, you will lead complex sourcing activities for non-ICT goods and services. You will help business areas achieve value for money through sound procurement and contract decisions.

You will:

- lead complex sourcing activities from planning through to contract award
- prepare transparent sourcing plans, evaluation reports, briefings and presentations
- lead effective supplier negotiations and help shape strong contract terms
- work closely with a skilled team to deliver procurement projects
- improve procurement processes, systems and services while supporting other tasks as needed.

About you

A relevant tertiary qualification in procurement, supply chain, commerce, law or business administration is highly desirable. Experience with government procurement and policies is also highly desirable.

You should also have:

- strong experience delivering complex procurement in a regulated setting
- experience planning high-value procurement and managing business-critical sourcing work
- proven negotiation skills and experience working with suppliers
- strong contract development skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
