Job Description

- Lead the preparation and delivery of quarterly and annual group consolidations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting across the business
- Prepare consolidation schedules, investigate reporting variances, and provide analysis of underlying balances and transactions
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journals, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities
- Partner with the Financial Controller to maintain the integrity of financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
- Interpret and apply IFRS and Australian Accounting Standards, providing guidance on technical accounting matters and disclosures
- Take ownership of group audit requirements, coordinating audit schedules, supporting documentation, and responses to auditor requests
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external accounting and audit firms to meet reporting deadlines and compliance requirements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of financial reporting and consolidation processes
- Identify and escalate significant accounting, reporting,



and compliance matters while providing insights to support business decision-making

The Successful Applicant

- CA qualified (or CPA qualified with strong IFRS experience) with proven senior accounting experience in group consolidations and financial reporting
- Strong technical accounting capability, including a solid understanding and application of IFRS and Australian Accounting Standards
- Demonstrated experience managing audit schedules, supporting documentation, and audit queries
- Advanced Excel skills with a proven track record of working across complex formulas, lookups, reconciliations, and PivotTables
- A collaborative and proactive professional who is comfortable and confident in engaging with finance, internal, and external stakeholder groups
- Comfortable and capable of completing ad-hoc tasks to assist the broader finance function
- Proven track record of managing competing deadlines
- Exposure to Pronto Xi or similar ERP system is advantageous
