We're looking for an Event Lead who loves being on the tools. This is a hands-on, on-site role where you'll set up, style and pack down events, and lead the crew on the day to bring each one to life. With a Wednesday to Sunday roster and a genuine pathway into project management, it's a great fit for someone who wants to grow their career in events.

Reporting to our Event Projects Lead, you'll take ownership of on-site setups and make sure every event is delivered to a standard to create experiences worth sharing. As you master our events, gear and standards, you'll take on more responsibility and work towards stepping up into an Event Projects Lead role.

About You
We hire for attitude and work ethic, and we'll teach you the rest. You'll learn our builds, gear, clients and standards in office at real events alongside our Event Projects Lead and crew, before taking charge of your own setups with full support behind you. You'll be someone who:

- Is available for a regular Wednesday to Sunday roster, including evenings, and is ready to commit to that as part of the job

- Is happiest on the tools, enjoys physical work and is comfortable lifting up to 23kg repeatedly across long days

- Is reliable. When you say you'll be there,

- Has a sharp eye for detail and keeps adjusting until everything looks consistent and perfect

- Stays calm and solutions-focused when things change fast

- Communicates well with crew, venue staff and clients, in person, by phone and by email

- Is keen to learn, take on responsibility and step up to lead a small crew

- Is the kind of person a crew wants to work hard for

You'll Also Need

- An open manual driver's licence (you'll be driving our vehicles to site)

- Willingness to travel across SEQ and interstate as required

- Full working rights in Australia

- Confidence with technology (experience with Arrivy, Current RMS, Monday.com or Google Workspace is a bonus, but we'll show you)

Experience in event setup, hire, styling, staging, AV, exhibitions, hospitality, construction or a trade is a plus, but it isn't a dealbreaker if you've got the right attitude.

What You'll Do

- On-site setup and pack-down: Lead the physical setup, installation and pack-down of events from floor plans and briefing notes, styling every element to our brand standards.

- Leading the crew: Direct and delegate on the day, train newer crew members, and keep morale and professionalism high.

- Quality and safety: Quality-check every setup before sign-off, follow and enforce WHS and SWMS, report hazards and incidents,



and look after our gear.

- Stock accuracy: Use checklists to make sure all stock is loaded before leaving site, and report missing or damaged items straight away.

- Client and venue liaison: Work professionally with venue staff, handle minor on-site client requests, and escalate bigger issues to the Event Projects Lead.

What the Job Really Involves
We'd rather be upfront so you know exactly what you're signing up for. This is a Wednesday to Sunday role, so your weekend is Monday and Tuesday. Expect regular evening pack-downs, long days during peak season (August - December), and travel across SEQ and interstate as needed (Usually once per month). Prep and load-out happen at our Burleigh Heads warehouse.
