About the role

This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for the day-to-day coordination and supervision of construction activities on site. You will work closely with the Project Manager, Contracts Administrator and Construction Manager to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, to a high standard and in accordance with the construction program.

Key responsibilities

- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers and material deliveries to meet construction programs.
- Manage day-to-day site activities and effectively coordinate trades.
- Work closely with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, WHS Manager and subcontractors.
- Supervise direct labour and provide hands-on leadership on site.
- Monitor and implement WHS policies, procedures and site requirements.
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, quality requirements and relevant legislation.
- Identify and resolve site issues efficiently.
- Complete and maintain all required site-based documentation, records and reports.
- Assist with planning, sequencing and programming of works.

About you





- Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial construction, preferably in a Foreman or supervisory role.
- Relevant Trade Certificate and Site Supervisor Licence.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- The ability to effectively coordinate trades and maintain project timeframes.
- High-level computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn recent systems.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety and quality outcomes.
