- Coordinate Logistics Operations: Manage the end-to-end logistics process, including transportation, and distribution of materials and products. Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and transportation partners to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Inventory Management: Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures. Conduct regular stock assessments and reconcile discrepancies.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and other relevant documentation. Prepare and process shipping and customs documents as required.
- Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost reduction in logistics and supply chain processes. Negotiate favourable terms with suppliers and carriers.
- Data Entry: Perform accurate and timely data entry of inventory transactions and logistics information into relevant systems. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data in the logistics database.
- Order Follow-ups: Monitor and track customer orders from placement to delivery. Work closely with the sales team to ensure customer requirements are met and address any order-related issues.
- Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns related to logistics and orders. Collaborate with the customer service team to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination. Provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders on the status of shipments, logistics activities, and order fulfillment.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve logistics and order-related issues in a timely and effective manner. Proactively identify potential challenges and implement preventive measures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in logistics operations, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
Robust understanding of supply chain principles and logistics processes.
Proficient in using logistics software and tools.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented and capable of analysing data to make informed decisions.
