The Opportunity?

We are seeking a talented Lawyer or Associate to join our highly regarded Family Law Team, based primarily at our Parramatta headquarters. This is an opportunity to play an important role within one of Western Sydney’s leading family law practices. You will work closely with respected Principals and senior lawyers on a diverse range of complex parenting, property, financial and relationship matters, gaining exposure to high-quality work while building lasting relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

What Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone who is ready to take the next step in their career, contribute to a high-performing team and build strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have:

- 2-5 years’ post qualification experience in family law

- Practical experience across a broad range of family law matters, including parenting, property, financial agreements, divorce and child support

- Strong knowledge of family law legislation, procedures and court processes, with experience appearing in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and other relevant courts where appropriate

- The ability to manage matters with increasing independence, from initial client meetings through to negotiation, correspondence and court proceedings

- Strong advocacy, negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide clear, practical and strategic advice to clients

- A genuine passion for family law and the capacity to build trusted relationships with clients through empathy, professionalism and sound legal advice

- An interest in business development and a willingness to contribute to the continued growth and profile of the family law practice
